Amritsar, May 10: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur has expressed grief over the demise of chairman of Sikh Missionary College, Ludhiana, Principal Harbhajan Singh.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said Principal Harbhajan Singh played a significant contribution in flourishing Sikhism. She said that he spent every moment of his life in preaching the message of Sikh history and the principles of Gurbani to the sangat and taught the lesson of faring for the Panth to many youngsters by giving them the essence of Sikhism. She said he had started Sikh Missionary College and connected millions of children with Gurmat. In an effort to provide information about Sikhism in a simple way, Principal Harbhajan Singh prepared a large section for preaching Sikhism.
SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the demise of Principal Harbhajan Singh is an unbearable loss to the Panth. Expressing sympathy with the family members of Principal Harbhajan Singh, Bibi Jagir Kaur prayed to the Karta Purakh to give shelter to the departed soul and give strength to the family to bear the loss.
