Dedicated to 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji: Completion of Gurbani Path Bodh Samagam by SGPC at Gurdwara Sri Nanak Mata Sahib

Amritsar, April 5: The Dharam Prachar Committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Monday concluded the Gurbani Path Bodh Samagam at the historic Gurdwara Sri Nanak Mata Sahib in the state of Uttarakhand dedicated to the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. It is notable that the Gurbani Path Bodh Samagam dedicated to the centenary was inaugurated on March 1, 2021 in association with the managing committee of Gurdwara Sri Nanak Mata Sahib, which has been completed today. At the conclusion of the Gurbani Path Bodh Samagam, a special Gurmat Samagam was held in which Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib hazuri raagi Bhai Karnail Singh connected the sangat with Gurbani. On behalf of the Dharam Prachar Committee, jathas of Bhai Gurbhej Singh Chaminda Dhadi and Bhai Karaj Singh Kavishar introduced the incomparable history of Guru Tegh Bahadur to the sangat. Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhayasi, a member of the Dharam Prachar Committee, who was present on the occasion on behalf of the SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur, congratulated the participants and said it is our good fortune that the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji has come our lives. He appealed to the sangat to participate in the ceremonies dedicated to the centenary. He also thanked the managing committee of Gurdwara Sri Nanak Mata Sahib for the success of the Gurmat Samagam. Meanwhile, the president of Gurdwara Sri Nanak Mata Sahib S. Sewa Singh thanked the SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur for conducting the Gurbani Path Bodh Samagam and said that it was the first time that such a function was held in this area which was highly appreciated by the sangat. During the function, the vice-president of Gurdwara Sahib S. Jaswinder Singh, S. Dhanna Singh, S. Nishan Singh, S. Kuldeep Singh Pannu, S. Harwinder Singh, S. Nirmal Singh, S. Mahinder Singh, S. Jarnail Singh, S. Amarjit Singh Sethi, S. Amarjit Singh Virk, S. Pargat Singh, S. Jaswant Singh, Bibi Kamlesh Kaur, S. Kuldeep Singh Bhullar, S. Ajit Singh, S. Harbans Singh, Baba Kashmir Singh, Baba Siam Singh, Baba Gurjant Singh, Uttar Pradesh in-charge of Sikh Mission Brijpal Singh, Kanshipur Sikh Mission in-charge Bhai Harjinder Singh, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh MA, S. Gursharan Singh, S. Manjit Singh, S. Jagwinder Singh, S. Jaswant Singh, Pracharak Bhai Gagandeep Singh, Bhai Gurnam Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Sahib Singh, Bhai Jagdish Singh etc. were present.
